Encouraging collaboration among practicum participants whether local students or fellow foreign students for shared experiences,  professional development activities and acquired skills and lessons would foster a sense of community and the exchange of best practices.

Cross-Cultural Training/Seminar:

Provide cross-cultural training for the practicum students to ensure they are equipped to work effectively with the students. Cultural shock is inevitable yet we can mitigate and minimize this through this training or seminar. Also, this is to provide cultural sensitivity and awareness to prepare participants for different workplace customs and communication styles.

In a month, it impossible to learn make the participants learn the students’ language immediately, however, establishing language training sessions, and teaching them basic words, and phrases can help participants navigate daily life and work more effectively in the host country.
