Authentic assessment methods were prominent in the observed classes. Beyond traditional exams, teachers utilized various kinds of assessments like project-based, portfolios, simulation, and among others to evaluate students' understanding and application of concepts. This approach not only gauged academic knowledge but also assessed critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills as they do it in groups and pairs at times. The emphasis on authentic assessments reflected a commitment to preparing students for real-world challenges.

In addition to this, I observed a strong emphasis on student engagement and inclusivity. Teachers actively encouraged open communication and created a supportive classroom environment. Moreover, there was a focus on differentiated instruction to accommodate varying learning needs. In one of the class I observed and handled, there is a student with a disability. This reflects how UPI is a center of excellence and at the same time, a center for inclusivity.
